the old thread was deleted by someone (I hope by mistake or by automatic s.ware - since I don't know why anyone would do that - everyone has a family).
This is my last post and thread on this subject and I have even updated my profile (since some gave me red for this in the last thread .. I hope they do contribute too ..even a small amount like $20 goes a long way).
you can send a money order if you are concerned about sending a check.

I have MS+2 yrs of experience(software engineer). The company i am thinking to join is in Boston.
I am guessing boston is a highly educated town with many young graduates roaming around. Having said that, will this be an issue while we send out an ad for MS+2 yrs as there might be several responses to the ad and refuting all of them would be difficult ?
Please let me know, if I am THINKING CRAZY or this is TRUE. Another option i have is a company in chicago. Not sure where will I be better off as far as GC is concerned.
Also, anybody heard of MONIQUE KORNFELD immigration attorney based out of Newton, Massachussets ??? If so, please let me know about her expertise. I JUST can't find out how many yrs she has been practising immigration.
Thanks

Hello All,
I need ur advice.
My H1 expires this sept 19th 2010. I don't have the present H1 stamped.
Also, I have the new extended H1 which is valid from Sept 19th 2010.
Now, I'm planning to travel to India and go for stamping.
1. If I go for stamping before sept19th, on which H1 will i get the visa stamped, present H1 or the new extended H1?
2. Is it safe to go before sept19th or after sept 19th? I prefer the stamping on H1 extension.
I'm flexible with my travel.
I'm waiting to book my appointement based on the advice given.
Appreciate ur inputs!!

I know everyone says Interim EAD is done with. But this is from the form on the USCIS website. Any ideas?
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-765.pdf
Interim EAD: an EAD issued to an eligible applicant when USCIS has failed to adjudicate an application within 90 days of receipt of a properly filed EAD application or within 30 days of a properly filed initial EAD application based on an asylumapplication filed on or after January 4, 1995. The interim EAD will be granted for a period not to exceed 240 days.

can anyone, who has adequate knowledge, tell me how does 485 move about in the USCIS?
I mean what happens after FP?
Do they work with your application only when the PD is current?
or they work on the application regardless of PD?
FBI namecheck starts after PD is current?
and when does a visa no. assigned?
too many questions...any takers?
thanks

I recommend the Nikon 18-70 AF-S DX zoom in that price range. Right now I use the older 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom on my DSLR, and find that I frequently use the 24mm extreme and wish it went wider. If you do lots of interiors and don't need a very wide angle of view, then one of your suggested lenses would be better due to the larger aperture (keep in mind that 28mm on a DSLR equals the angle of view of a 42mm lens on film).
